Roland Houston, was the father of Grace Houston and the husband of Jackie Lee Houston Montgomery Scott, he died in a Helicopter accident, that caused Grace and her mother Jackie Lee to move away from Norfolk Naval bas,e and move to Palm Beach in Florida. Before he died both Grace and Jackie Lee thought the world of him and he nicknamed Grace his "Sailor Girl."
