“Farthingale Manor.” Built in 1886 for English toy mogul Langdon Tatterton of the Tatterton Toy empire, the home was the centerpiece of the Massachusetts’s Mansion district and the toast of New England society. The home soon fell into great disrepair in the 1970s as Tatterton Toys sales plummeted and the three-hundred-year-old family corperaton went bankrupt in 1986. In the late 1990s the estate was donated and renovated into a school. The grounds remain today as an academy of the arts named after reknowned toy designer and innovator Troy Tatterton.

Leigh Vanvoreen lived at the mansion when her mother married Tony, her daughter Heaven lived there with her grandmother and Tony and eventually, Leigh's granddaughter Annie lived there when she lost her mother and stepfather in a car crash.
